The IS1200-FRM includes 3 categories of reports. For each report category, IT can create a summary or detail report. A summary report provides aggregate information about all files that match the report criteria. A detail report provides metadata at the file level about each individual file that matches the report criteria. The IS1200-FRM offers several categories of reports:

Storage Reports
The storage utilization report identifies how network storage is currently utilized. For example, a report can list the total size of all files on your file system or file distribution across storage tiers. You can create a summary or a detail report and from the list of files in a detail report, you can copy, move, and delete files.
Duplicate Reports
The duplicates report lists duplicate files or documents in your file system. You can then delete duplicate files to optimize storage space. When you create a duplicates summary report, the Kazeon Information Server calculates and displays the storage space that can be gained when you delete duplicate documents.
Audit Reports
Audit reports, or access-pattern reports, are created to track historical actions on files if and when a file was last accessed and what actions were performed on it relative to the last time that file was crawled. Files can be listed that were created, modified, and deleted. Audit reports can be created for a specific action, or time period.
After running reports and analyzing the results, IT can create policies to optimize tiered storage infrastructure by defining levels of service across tiers of storage that simplify management, optimize storage utilization, and cut costs. Policies enable organizations to move or copy files from one class of storage to another and to identify what files can be deleted. The policies are based on common file attributes (last time accessed, frequency of access, etc) to meet IT requirements.
Organizations can migrate entire projects or take aged, infrequently accessed files and move them to more cost effective secondary storage based on end user service level requirements. Kazeon can also help organizations identify duplicate files so they can be migrated to single instance storage or deleted completely. Advanced features such as automated load balancing and cluster support optimize performance and simplify deployment.
