Kazeon Systems, the worldwide leader in "unstructured information management", is looking to expand the breadth of its technical resources with the recruitment of Solutions Engineer in the Los Angeles or San Diego regions of the United States. Working in conjunction with Kazeon Account Executives, the Systems Engineer provides pre-sales technical services related to the award-winning Information Server IS1200 and its ability to classify, index and search filesystem data (based on both metadata and actual file content) across the enterprise.

Requirements

Pre-sales technical services include but are not limited to:

• Technical product presentations
• Product demonstrations
• Solutions design
• Competitive positioning
• Formulation of evaluation test plans
• Evaluation implementation
• RFP assistance

The contextual visibility that the IS1200 provides into the world of unstructured data helps organizations deal not only with the explosive growth of electronic records, but also with their propagation, migration, protection, retention and disposition. Corporate initiatives that benefit from this intelligent data management solution include:

• ILM and Storage Optimization
• Data Privacy and Security
• Compliance and Corporate Governance
• Legal Discovery and Litigation Support
• ECM and Records Management
• Migration to Disk to Disk Backup

Experience/Requirements

Backgrounds in vendor storage (hardware and software), content management and archiving have proven to be excellent foundations on which begin to build your career as a Kazeon Systems Engineer. Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor in Business / Engineering or equivalent training and industry experience
• 5-10 years of experience as a Systems Engineer
• System administration experience in UNIX and Windows environments
• Administration of NFS and CIFS shared file systems
• NIS and Active Directory Authentication
• Networking skills
• Understanding of shell scripts / perl
• Storage Administration on NetApp and EMC NAS devices
• Other desirable skills: database, SQL / regular expressions, project management
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Open to extensive travel
• Professional experience with Documentum, FileNet, Enterprise Vault, EmailXtender, Arkivio, NuView, Autonomy or FAST would be advantageous.
