Responsibilities:

The following tasks and responsibilities will be central to this role:

• Design and develop innovative database and storage infrastructure for Kazeon's family of products.
• Design high performance database reporting and system engineering tasks such as database administration and alerts notification for large databases running terra bytes of data.
• Implement high performance distributed database oriented applications in a clustered environment.
• Design algorithms for and develop supporting software modules such as trend analysis, database security, scalability, administration and data mining.

Required Skills:

The following skills are essential for this role:

• BSCS required. MSCS preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of experience as a database Software Engineer and knowledge of database performance and query languages.
• Solid C/C++ programming experience on UNIX platform preferably with databases.
• Knowledge and experience with distributed systems, systems programming, and Database applications for large scale data.
• Knowledge of Open database servers such as PostGreSQL would be a plus.
• Java experience would be a plus.
